Workshop Description:
This one-hour continuing education workshop provides an evidence-based overview of how hypnotherapy and memory reconsolidation can be integrated to strengthen clinical outcomes. Participants will first review the research on hypnotherapy efficacy across a variety of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, pain, and habit change. The course will then explore cutting-edge findings on memory reconsolidation, a process that has been shown to unlock and update maladaptive emotional learning. By creating memory reconsolidation through hypnotherapy, clinicians can create more robust and enduring opportunities for therapeutic change. The session concludes with a live demonstration, allowing participants to both experience and observe hypnosis in action, translating theory into practice.
