• Prerequisite & Target Audience: Must have a minimum of a master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, or MD Psychiatrist. Other Mental Health Professionals are also welcome to attend and receive a certificate of completion for each course completed but will not receive Certification until they have completed the above education prerequisite.
• Please note: To ensure competence in the material, all components of the certification program (courses, supervision sessions, and client sessions) must be completed within two (2) years. This two-year clock starts on the date you complete your first qualifying course, supervision session, or client session, even if you completed it as an individual purchase before deciding to pursue the full certification. If more than two (2) years have passed since a component was completed, it will need to be retaken in order to count toward certification.

Courses may be either Live Webinars or On-Demand. However, you’ll need to pass the test for each course. There are usually no tests for our Live Webinars, but there are for the Certification.

Upon Completion of the Requirements, You Receive:

• The distinction of being Certified in Exposure and Response Prevention (CERP) by experts in the field.

SUPERVISION & CASE PRESENTATION REQUIRED:

After completing all workshops, you are required to attend two (2) Group Supervision sessions and two (2) individual sessions to present your case conceptualization with Dr. Ashlenn Von Wiegand and/or Hamilton Von Wiegand, ERP Experts for the initial Certification in ERP (CERP). The costs of these sessions are NOT included in the cost of the CERP bundle; you will pay them directly for the sessions.

What to expect in supervision for certification:

Dr. Ashlenn Von Wiegand and Hamilton Von Wiegand, LPC really strive to create an open space for learning and growth. During supervision, you can expect valuable resources, handouts, and other tools to help your ERP work with clients thrive. They give honest and respectful feedback to ensure each clinician gains a wealth of knowledge as to how to implement the most effective interventions for clients struggling with OCD and other anxiety disorders.

You will be required to complete ten hours of treating clients, with at least two hours in each of the three ERP skills: Imaginal Exposure, In-vivo Exposure, and Interoceptive Exposure (on your honor - you’ll sign a form attesting that you have completed these hours with real clients).

Throughout the course of your ERP certification journey, you are expected to receive a minimum of two individual supervision sessions with your supervisor ($250/session) and two group supervision sessions ($90/session). If you book all four sessions at once, you will receive a discounted price of $620 for everything! You are welcome to take advantage of more than the required two individual sessions and two group sessions should you feel it would help you navigate various cases with your clients and prepare for the certification case conceptualization and recording assessment.

In your final individual supervision session, your supervisor will finish reviewing your case conceptualization and give you feedback on your ERP recording assessment. For more details, please visit the detailed ERP Certifications Page here.

Registration: To register for individual workshops, we recommend purchasing the course directly on the workshop's page on our website. Workshops worth fewer than 3 CE hours are not eligible for the multi-workshop discount and are therefore not listed on the registration form.
